NEW TOWN PHONE NUMBER STARTING JUNE 16, 2025 315-262-8061
About the Town*Stockholm was formed on February 21, 1806 from the Town of Massena and officially established.
Geographically, the Town of Stockhom is an interior town in the northeastern part of the county. The town is bordered on the north by the Town of Norfolk, on the east by the Towns of Brasher and Lawrence, on the south by the Towns of Hopkinton & Parishville and on the west by the Town of Potsdam. *excerpt from the Town History book with information compiled by the members of the historical organization and volunteers. Stockholm is a quiet but unique family & farming community surrounded by rivers, lakes, ponds and mountains. Beyond the many year round outdoor recreational opportunities you’ll find numerous amenities which are rare for such a rural location making it an especially attractive place to live and work!
Stockholm is not the town for everyone—we’re way too small for that—but it’s a great place for people who want to live a simpler life, raise a family and still having many of the benefits of an urban area. If you are considering a move to the area, please read Why Stockholm, for more information! |
